Aloha, I am Anne Ummenthun. My style is a combination of: true-to-color, natural moments, subtle direction where needed, and playing with the light.
I am not a photographer who makes you pose all day; one client even gave me the nickname: Annerazzi!
I am the one who sees Mom secretly wiping away a tear, your little one falling asleep on Grandpa’s lap, and you looking at each other as if no one else exists for a moment. Having captured more than 25 weddings, I have extensive experience in moving along with the flow of your day.
I prefer to work in the background during a wedding. Of course, there are moments, such as your couple’s photoshoot and the photos with friends and family, where I will help you look your best. Then we will mostly be laughing. But throughout the day, I capture every moment as they are, from big to small.

I photograph weddings throughout the Netherlands and beyond. From intimate celebrations on an estate to multi-day destination weddings. Wherever you get married, you are always the focus.

We start with a relaxed chat (via video call or in person at my photography studio) so you can be sure we’re a good match, I can answer all your questions, and—of course—I can hear more about your wonderful plans.
After that, I’ll send you a quote. Once the quote is approved, your date is secured in my calendar. And don’t worry: you don’t have to decide on the number of hours until our final meeting, six weeks before the wedding—after all, your schedule might not be fully set 6 to 12 months in advance.

We will go over your schedule, and I will provide advice wherever needed.
We typically have two additional meetings before your wedding day. During the final meeting—six weeks in advance—we will discuss all the last details and the photography hours. I will send the invoice after that.

I move along with your day and capture everything without directing—except when necessary. (such as during the couple’s shoot)

You will receive a carefully curated gallery containing all the photos that tell the complete story of your wedding day. On average, I deliver between 50 and 75 photos for every hour of coverage. All images are professionally edited in my signature style.
When will we receive our wedding photos?
Within 24 hours, you will receive a preview featuring a selection of the most beautiful moments from your day. The full gallery will then be delivered within a few weeks via a personal online gallery.
Do you work throughout the Netherlands?
Yes, absolutely. Although I am based in North Limburg, I photograph weddings all over the Netherlands and beyond.
Do you also photograph weddings abroad?
Yes, certainly; I would love to capture your day abroad. However, it is important to contact me well in advance due to travel time and scheduling.
We aren’t very photogenic. Is that a problem?
Quite the opposite. Almost every couple says this during our initial meeting.
My approach isn’t about posing for hours on end, but about capturing genuine moments. I offer guidance where needed, but my main priority is ensuring you enjoy your day. The most beautiful photos happen when you forget there’s a camera around. That is my mission.
How much time should we set aside for photos of the two of us?
We usually schedule about 30 to 45 minutes for the couple’s photoshoot (excluding travel time), so allow for a total of an hour and a half in your schedule. It’s not an elaborate fashion shoot, but a relaxed moment for you to enjoy the day together.
What if it rains?
Don’t worry. It wouldn’t be the Netherlands without a little rain.
Thanks to my experience, I can almost always find a great solution. Sometimes we wait for a dry spell, sometimes we use a covered location, and sometimes rainy conditions actually produce the most atmospheric photos. We always create a Plan A for good weather and a Plan B for bad weather.
Do you also photograph the small moments?
Those moments are often the most important ones.
Your father’s look during the ceremony, a hug from Grandma, children playing during dinner, or that single tear no one else noticed. I capture not just what happens, but—more importantly—what makes your day special.
Do you work with a second photographer?
I photograph most weddings on my own. This helps keep the atmosphere relaxed and unobtrusive.
For larger weddings or specific requests, a second photographer can be added. We can discuss what works best for your day during our introductory meeting.
What happens if the schedule runs over?
Weddings almost always unfold a little differently than planned.
That’s why I actively adapt to the flow of the day. If you’d like me to stay longer, it’s usually easy to book extra hours.
KDo we get a wedding album?
Yes. A luxury wedding album is included in my wedding packages. You choose your 100 favorite photos, and I handle the design. The album only goes into production once you are completely happy with the layout.
Can family and friends view the photos?
Yes. You will receive a personal online gallery that is easy to share with family and friends. This allows everyone to view and download the photos and relive the memories of your day.
How do we book our wedding date?
Send a message via the contact form with your wedding date, venue, and a brief introduction.
If your date is still available, we’ll first schedule a no-obligation introductory meeting. We only finalize the booking once it feels right for both parties.

Jullie zoeken geen fotograaf die de hele dag vooraan staat. Eerder iemand die meebeweegt. Iemand die voelt wanneer ze moet verdwijnen en wanneer juist niet.
Denk aan een kameleon op jullie dag. Het ene moment kijk ik rond, observeer ik, vang ik de kleine momenten, knuffels, de blikken en alle details.
Ik vier jullie dag met jullie mee. Met een camera in mijn hand. Altijd op zoek naar het mooiste licht, de beste composities, beelden waarin jullie jezelf herkennen en waar al jullie lievelingsmensen er op hun allermooist opstaat.
Tijdens jullie dag ben ik aanwezig zonder op te vallen Zodat alles kan gebeuren zoals het bedoeld is
Zo ontstaat een verslag van jullie dag. Vol echte tussendoor-momenten die je niet kunt plannen maar wél kunt bewaren.

Ik geloof dat je trouwfoto’s niet iets is waar je op bespaart, maar dat het de beelden zijn die blijven.
